Must Have Baby Registry Items – I Couldn’t Live Without!

IMG_5781

We just recently had our 5th  baby and oh boy let me tell you…baby products have definitely changed over the past 13 years since having my first. There are so many things that nice and quite convenient and then a ton of things to be honest that are just a waste of money. We really had to start completely over with baby #5, as we got rid of pretty much everything after having our 4th. So of course I did a ton of thinking and research to figure out what we NEEDED. I wanted to go into this last baby with a pretty minimalist approach. Not just get a ton of stuff that would actually get used.

After doing all that research, I figured I should share my findings and the results with you all not that Rowyn (baby #5) is now 2 months old!

Now I am not going to state the obvious items like, car seat, stroller, crib and diapers. They are definitely “must haves” and really just depend of preference.

First let me tell you I am a huge fan of Just Born products. They are well made, beautiful and affordable. Just Born’s Sparkle Collection is one of my favorites! When creating your baby registry I recommend checking out the Sparkle bed and bath Collection and adding the 2-pack hooded towel and washcloth set, as well as a wear-a-blanket. I have both and use them daily!

The full collection is available in mint, pale pink, baby blue and gender-neutral hues, all beautifully appointed with stylish silver and gold stars, hearts and dots. My little guy loves his wear-a-blanket sleeper. It is perfect for keeping him cozy without losing his blankets while he twists and turns in his sleep. Plus these soft cotton blankets are so pretty, cool and they definitely fall under the “necessities” list.

The next “must have” item I would recommend is a super soft plush blanket. Even if your baby is due in the summer, having a cuddly blankie is always nice! All 5 of my babies have found a blanket from newborn on that was their comfort item and really helped them sleep and self soothe.

Another important baby registry item I would recommend is a fun plush musical toy. Even from as early as the 1st month they are nice to have to put on your car seat or bouncy seat to play a short tune of music and settle your sweet baby down. I have this super cute Woodlands Bellamy Bunny Pull Musical is an adorable soft bunny stuffed animal toy that plays Twinkle-Twinkle when the teether ring is pulled. It has been great for my two youngest actually, my toddler loves to pull the teething ring to play the music and in the meantime it has done a fantastic job at soothing the baby when he is getting fussy on the go. Definitely one of my most favorite toys so far!

Finally, I don’t think I could live without my baby front pack carrier! I wear my little guy nearly every single day. Sometimes I wear him just to do chores around the house! I swear within 2-3 minutes of me putting him the front pack baby Rowyn calms down and falls right to sleep. I call it my miracle pack!
