Schlitterbahn, Applebee’s Cross Cut Ribs and Family Time = Heaven!

I was provided these products free of charge in exchange for an honest opinion. All opinions are 100% my own!

This past weekend we spent the whole day together as a family, having fun, hanging in the sun and eating good food! We started out with an amazing day at Schlitterbahn water park with our four kids. Boy was that an awesome adventure! I had no idea that Schlitterbahn was such an amazingly family friendly water park. I have lived here in Kansas City for 2 years and have never been – until now that is. Had I known it was so awesome we probably would have bought an annual family pass.

We loved all of the awesome “lazy river” type attractions and that the waterpark provides child safe double tubes. These tubes are fabulous. My little guy was able to sit safely in the tube with me and ride through the park. Not only are these tube absolutely fabulous and free – they are literally at an abundance throughout the park. This was the first time in my entire life I did not have to fight for a tube or hold on to the same tube all day – they had spare tubes everywhere throughout the park! I definitely would recommend Schlitterbahn to all! Especially if you are looking for a fun, safe, family-friendly activity. My kids are 2, 6, 8 and 10 years old and ALL of them had the time of their lives!

After we road the wild rides and rivers throughout the water park, we indulged in some tasty all you can eat Cross Cut Ribs at Applebees. Oh my goodness – let me tell you I was shocked at how much we really liked them. Applebee’s Crosscut ribs are slathered with your choice of three brand-new signature sauce’s: Sweet Asian Chile, Smoky Chipotle and Honey BBQ. We first tried the Sweet Asian Chili sauce, and it was amazing! The flavors were spot on. However I will say it was a bit too spicy for me. Next I tried the Honey BBQ! Oh boy I could have eaten those one’s for days. They were amazing! I definitely recommend you go and give them a try! Plus at just $11.99 for all you can eat ribs, you just can’t go wrong!

After dinner we finished our night off with a tasty Applebee’s Triple Chocolate Melt Down. Ok enough said it was amazing, delicious and devoured before I could even get a picture!
