5 Toys for Making On-The-Go Convenient
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Are you a busy on-the-go mom (dad, grandparent or childcare provider)? I know as a mom of four, I always feel like I am running around crazy busy, picking kids up from school, dropping them off at sports, taking them to appointments and so forth. My poor little guy, being the youngest of four gets toted around everywhere we go.
Thankfully through many helpful friends, suggestions from family members and life experience I have learned a few helpful hints for making long and short road trips, errands and appointments more fun for the kids. For instance, I like to keep board books in my diaper bag/purse for easy quick entertainment. Another helpful tool has been having a spare set of keys that the baby/toddler can play with. These are usually old keys we don’t need anymore that they he can use for pretend play, clinging together or whatever else kids like to do with keys.
But to be honest my most favorite NEW tip I have learned of has been these new On-The-Go toys from Playskool! They make life as a busy mom much easier and fun for the little ones! Each one of these toys was designed specifically for on-the-go parents just like me. They were designed to help with sensory, fine motor and developmental life skills, while being easy to pack, carry and travel with! Say goodbye to the crazy clutter, mixed matched pieces or huge travel toy bags!
5 Toys for Making On-The-Go Convenient
- Fold ‘N Go Elephant: This toy is perfect for kids ages 3 months and up. It is extremely soft and has several fun features for keeping baby happy and entertained. This portable cuddly friend makes the perfect travel buddy for little ones looking for some on-the-go tummy time. It’s packed with tons of fun features to enhance sensory play. The best part is that it folds up into a cute little purse/bag and has an easy to carry handle.
- Pop-Up Shape Sorter: The Pop-Up Shape Sorter is my son’s personal favorite toy at the moment. It is not the typical shape sorter, this one folds down into an easy to carry case, keeping all the pieces together! Little ones love matching and sorting the shapes, stacking them up and pouring them out the bottom! Plus the super cute little kitty case collapses down flat for easy storage and portability.
- Dressy Kids Doll: First of all, dolls are not just for girls. My son loves to play with babies! This Dressy Kids doll is one of the best. It is available in both a boy and girl version and is more than just a doll, it teaches several important motor and life skills that ALL kids need to learn. My favorite features on the Dressy Kids stylish pal are the zipper, buckle, button, tie, and fasteners. All of these features are not just stylish on the doll, but teach toddlers how to zip, button, tie and fasten all by themselves. The best part is you can attach the Dressy Kids doll to your stroller, diaper bag or car seat, making traveling with this highly entertaining doll much easier and more fun!
- Stack ‘N Stow Cups: When packing to go on a trip or even to an appointment no one wants to carry around a large toy bag to keep the babies busy. But with these adorable Stack ‘N Stow Cups you can easily toss them in your purse or diaper bag without taking up a ton of space. The adorable lion base and several colorful cups have easy-grasp tabs for little hands to be able to easily handle. The Stack ‘N Stow Cups are perfect for teaching your little ones fine motor skills and hand eye coordination while on the go! I love that these cups don’t just stack and stow within each other but they have a lockable base for keeping them all together while traveling and even have a hook (the lions tail) for attaching to a stroller or diaper bag!
- Roll ‘N Gears Car: Both boys and girls preschool age love to explore how gears work and cars move. This fun travel friendly car has it all. In the car mode, this fun little toy has workable gears for the baby to roll it along while watching the passenger spin around inside. When you open the car up, kids can explore the removable gears, by stacking them, arranging them around the car and watching them fit together. When they are done playing with the inside gears, simply close the car up and toss it all in one piece in your diaper bag for easy peasy transportation.
