How to move across country as an Extreme Couponer!

Ok so about a month ago I moved across country and had to pack up our home, family of 6 and my stockpile of course. I took a few pictures of the craziness of trying to pack our entire house into a single 16 ft POD. We got a lot of laughs packing the POD stuffing every crevice with items from my stockpile. But we got even more laughs trying to unload the POD with dishwasher detergent and diapers falling on our heads 🙂

At one point my hubby was trying to pull down some of the stockpile items that were shoved at the top of the storage container (we used the items like toilet paper, paper towels and paper plates to fill to the very top and keep the boxes and such steady for the cross country drive); when he suddenly starts to fall backwards tangled in a rope that was holding up our mattresses…backwards he goes…feet tangled in a rope with picture frames, diapers and paper towels all falling down around him…he fell about 3.5 feet…and if you ask me it was a very graceful fall…LOL. All I could do is laugh so hard…he didnt get hurt of course (or I wouldn’t have laughed) but man I wish I had a video camera…man falling while an avalache of stockpile items fall atop!!! LOL it was the funniest site!
