Please help me!

Ok honest opinions please! I am ready to move my almost 5 month old out of my room and into his crib…however with 4 kiddos in the house we have limited space…the room we will have to move him to is downstairs and our room is upstairs..I told my husband that in order to move my baby so far away from me I would need a video monitor…I found this Infant Optics DXR-5 2.4 GHz Digital Video Baby Monitor with Night Vision on sale for only $99.99 (reg $299.99)!!!

Please tell me what do you think about the idea of having my baby on a different level of the house as me at night and using the monitor to help? Has anyone tried out this monitor? The ratings are great but I would love personal opinions if anyone has any!!!
