Crockpot Pulled Pork Sliders
Oh my goodness – if you are looking for an incredibly easy to make meal that tastes like heaven, than you are going to LOVE this recipe! This melt in your mouth Crockpot Pulled Pork recipe takes less than 5 minutes to prep, 4 hours to cook in a crockpot and just a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs Pork Roast (cheaper than pork tenderloin and it works great!)
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 cups Sweet Baby Rays BBQ (we actually spruce ours up a bit I will include our Semi-Homemade BBQ recipe as well)
- Kings Hawaiian Rolls
Directions
Put the pork roast in your crockpot on high (I use a Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System – it’s the BEST!). Generously season the roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder (about 1-2 tsp of each). Pour 1/2 cup water into the bottom of the crockpot and let cook for 3 hours.
Once pork is fully cooked, you should be able to shred it with a fork very easily. Add BBQ to shredded pork and let continue to cook in the crockpot for at least 1 more hour.
Place a hearty scoop of pulled pork mixture onto a Kings Hawaiian bun and serve with your choice of sides. (We like to eat corn on the cob, green beans, baked beans and/or cold slaw with this meal)
Semi-Homemade BBQ
- 2 cups Sweet Baby Rays
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 TBSP Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Mix all ingredients together well. (The Apple Cider Vinegar and brown sugar are the key to the perfect flavor!)
