LongHorn Steakhouse #Revew “Steaks That Sizzle”

I recently was blessed to be able to take my family to LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner. Having never been to LongHorn Steakhouse we were really excited for this new experience. Boy were we impressed. We absolutely loved our meal. I found LongHorn Steakhouse to be extremely family friendly. The staff was abundantly kind. I loved that both the server and manager came to our table and welcomed our family, gave my kids a snack to keep them happy while waiting for their dinner, and assured us that our kids were welcome in their restaurant.  When dining as a family of six, sometimes it feels like we are looked at as a bother rather than a guest. LongHorn Steakhouse made us feel welcome!

Now lets talk food – OMG AMAZING! I am kind of picky when it comes to steakhouses as I grew up as a chef’s daughter. Both my parents owned fine dining restaurants and thus I know steaks well! I was very pleased with our selections. We chose to try a couple of steaks form the new “Steaks That Sizzle” menu.  This menu features three flavorful 6 oz sirloin steaks served with a hand-chopped salad and choice of a side all for just $12.99. Choose from the smoky, spicy or savory steaks. Each is unique and looked absolutely amazing. We chose to try out the Smoky Double Bacon Sirloin wrapped in bacon, topped with even more bacon, smoked gouda and a four-cheese sauce as well as the  Savory Parmesan Crusted Sirloin grilled to perfection with a delicious Parmesan ad garlic cheese crust.  The third steak we did not try however it looked delicious it was called the Spicy Sriracha Sirloin grilled, topped with a special spicy sriracha sauce and topped with onion straws.

We finished the evening with probably the best restaurant dessert I have had in a very long time – the Chocolate Stampede. Oh my this dessert was not only the best dessert ever! It was HUGE. Just this one dessert was more than enough for our family of 6 to indulge and enjoy! Just thinking about this 6 layer chocolate cake served with vanilla bean ice cream makes me want to return to LongHorn Steakhouse now!
