TLC Extreme Couponing “Black Friday” Behind the Scenes!

Ok so I thought I would try to help you all better understand some of the details of my insanely-crazy-all nighter shopping trip! The only problem is…I can barely remember what happened…between being 3 months pregnant (with ridiculous morning sickness) and staying awake for 44 hours straight I am not sure if my memories are that accurate!!! But I will do my best!

Where do you live?
I live in Lynnwood Washington (near Seattle). 

Where did you shop?
I shopped at Best Buy, Old Navy, Stride Rite, Finish Line, Disney Store, Express, and I think another store or two but I can’t remember now!

Was this a normal shopping trip for you?
Shopping all night Black Friday is definitely something  I do EVERY year!!! I however do not usually shop at the stores I shopped at for the show this year…that was a new experience for me! I typically shop at Old Navy, Kohls, Walmart, sometimes Target, and the a few stores at the mall if they open in the middle of the night. I also normally do quite a bit of shopping at the local pharmacies…and pick up all sorts of awesome freebies! This year I did still hit one of my favorite pharmacies (Walgreens) before I even started cooking my Thanksgiving meal! However, I was unable to shop at some of my favorite Black Friday stores because they would not allow us to film for the show…so quickly my strategy changed! 

How did you get those razors for FREE?
The Norelco razor were an awesome deal I was super excited to score! I had received a $30 off coupon in the newspaper the week before Black Friday and after consulting with the manager of the store (Best Buy) and doing some research on the internet I was given the ok that the coupon did apply to the model of razor I was buying! All the men in my family are now thanking me for their easy to use shavers and all the woman are enjoying their man’s softly-smooth face!

Did I get everything I wanted?
I did get everything I wanted for each of the stores I was able to film in. There were however a few items I had to buy from other stores that I either pre-bought and had the receipts price adjusted on Black Friday or I was able to find a better deal on by waiting and using my couponing and shopping knowledge to score! Thank goodness I know of a good blog that research all the deal….LOL
