Target has updated their coupon policy…make sure to print it out…so you don’t look as dumb as I did tonight! LOL

Well…I just got home from Target and man do I feel dumb!!! I have always spent my Walgreens Register Rewards at Target…their coupon policy allowed for you to use coupons from any catalina machine including coupons with other store logo’s…as long as the coupon clearly stated it was a manufacture coupon! When I went to check out the cashier didn’t know of the policy so she asked for a team leader to come over…he said they don’t accept “these” coupons…I politely asked for a manager…she came over and very quickly said “nope can’t take these coupons”. Knowing that I had the coupon policy memorized (from the most recent update in November 2012) I asked if they could please check the coupon policy as I didn’t have my copy with me tonight (which by the way is SOOOO important that you always carry it with you). After a little time she pulled of the coupon policy…it looked like the one I had…except…the notation saying they accept catalina coupons was no longer there!!! 🙁 So sad…and felt SO DUMB!

***It seems Target has a NEW coupon policy that was just updated 3/2013! Make sure to read it carefully as there are some changes…also make sure to print it out and carry it to the store with you so that you don’t have to look nearly as dumb as I did tonight!!!
