Dex DayDreamer Infant Incline Napper/Lounger Review

As a mom of 4 kiddos I have seen a lot of different baby “stuff” come out over the years. Some seem silly and just a waste of money while others I have learned I could not live without! The Dex DayDreamer is one item I have heard of but never used….until now!!!

I was recently given the opportunity to review the DayDreamer baby incline napper/lounger. The DayDreamer is designed for babies from newborn to 5 months. It is on a 28 degree angle providing little ones a comfortable place for checking out whats happening around them or taking a nap.  One thing I LOVE about the DayDreamer is that the sides are high enough to prevent your little one from falling out (my little guy started rolling over at just 1 week old…so this is a HUGE bonus for me!) I also love how the sides are high enough and the bottom slants up just enough that any teether toys the baby is playing with do not easily fall out…and henceforth less germs!!! PLUS if you check out the picture below you can see how the little buckle is fully covered with the soft material…keeping baby from having the harsh plastic rubbing against him/her.

Another awesome feature of the DayDreamer is the fact that is has a removable, machine washable! The cover made of a moisture wicking material, and the seat is waterproof for those longer naps where accidents could happen.

My youngest daughter had a pretty bad case of acid reflux and so the fact that this product is machine washable is amazing. Pretty much ANYTHING she touched needed to be machine washable…yuck!  Also because she had such bad reflux we had to maker her sleep on an incline…in other words I am seriously bummed out I didn’t have this product back when she was an infant!!! So if you have a baby that likes to sleep or play on an incline….has acid reflux…or just like having an easy to use safe place to put your baby down to nap or play than the DayDreamer is an absolute must.

Both my son and I absolutely LOVE DayDreamer Incline seat! He loves to sit in it while drinking his milk and watching his siblings play around him (or even watching Baby Einstein)!!! I also love using this seat for him while I am taking a shower…he gets to sit back and relax and take in the steam (keeping his sinuses clear during the winter).

If I could improve one thing about the Dex DayDreamer incline seat…it would be to add a handle on it of some sort. It is very light to carry from room to room…but if it had a handle it would make carrying it while holding the baby so much easier!
