FANNY FOOZLE apps for smartphone/tablet #Review

I was recently asked to review Fanny Foozle an interactive character book and app series available for mobile devices and geared for preschool children. With 4 kids who are constantly taking my phone and looking for games to play while we are waiting at the doctors or other appointments, I thought it would be fun and interested to see what my kids thought of this new app without me even saying a word! There are 3 different “apps” games you can download on iTunes. So I downloaded them all! fanny foozle 2

My youngest son is 22 months and although he doesn’t have a clue what he is doing, he LOVES the fun sons, sounds and easy to do activities! One of his favorite things to do is turn on FannyPop. He loves the fun catchy theme song and then popping the Fanny Foozle balloons. Popping the balloons is similar to playing Fruit Ninja but with popping instead of swiping. There’s a black, red and white character that you are supposed to avoid popping. When you pop him 3 times the game is over. It is really a fun and easy game for my little toddler.

As for the older three kids they will play the FannyPop sometimes but they prefer the Fanny Foozle Story Chimes and Fanny Games. Those are geared more towards 3 and up! They love listening to the exciting interactive stories, while popping bubbles, making flowers bloom, the sun dance and all sorts of fun stuff! The games are great for keeping the kids occupied while also learning and stimulating their brains a little. My youngest daughter is in Kindergarten and she loves the writing and spelling game where she can trace words with “paint” right on the screen!

At the end of the book there are six prompts: Game, Karaoke, Matching, Web, Coloring, and Video (my youngest two LOVE the video). The ebook, Fanny Foozle Fun app & Fanny Foozle Pop game are all free in the iTunes store, while only the ebook is available in the Android and Kindle store just $1.99.
