BeltLock Product Review

I recently received the BeltLock to review. The BeltLock is a great little device for those of you with toddlers who like to play with their seat belts. As a momma of 4 I have had a few kids who were able to get out of their seatbelts on their own. Once they discovered the freedom of unlocking their seatbelts they decided it was fun to get out of their seats while I was driving! Well obviously that is  not safe! That is why with my next little one approaching toddler (almost 2 years old) I am so excited about this BeltLock device. It is wonderful, safe and gives me as momma peace of mind!

Installing the BeltLock was simple. Just slip it over the seat belt receiver and once your child is in its seat you insert the buckle through the BeltLock and into the seat belt receiver. To take the buckle off you just insert a key or any other narrow object into the BeltLock which then releases it from the receiver. Yes it can get a little annoying to have to take that extra step to take your baby out of their seat belt. But honestly isn’t their safety worth it?!?! The only thing I didn’t like about the BeltLock is that in the case of an emergency I wonder how easily it would be for me to get my baby out of the car in a timely manner. But even with that…I think my kids are safer with BeltLock then without so I will continue to use it!

Right now my son is still in a regular carseat and I have the BeltLock set so that when my other kids are buckling and unbuckling their seat belts they don’t accidentally unbuckling the babies carseat. I am sure I am not the only one who has noticed that the babies carseat is mystically  unbuckled! The BeltLock will protect even your baby from the accidental unbuckling!
