Cast Iron S’more Dip
I have to admit I have a major weakness for S’mores! They are definitely one of my favorite treats. When I am pregnant I have been known to make them in the microwave to meet my late night sweet cravings. Now with this amazing S’more Dip recipe I don’t have to do that. Now all I need is my favorite cast iron skillet and my normal S’more ingredients and I get make myself (friends and family too) a tasty treat!
The best part is not having to sit outside in the cold or waiting for a campfire experience to indulge in my favorite dessert. Since S’mores are pretty much timeless – I enjoying making this treat year round for house guests and for my kids occasionally.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 2-3 cups Marshmallows
- 1 box Graham Crackers
- 2 TBSP vegetable or coconut oil
- Cast Iron Pan
Start out by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F. Place your empty cast iron pan in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven. Don’t forget to use a good oven mit! This pan will be sizzling hot!
Add oil and chocolate chips to the hot cast iron pan and mix well. The chocolate chips will begin to soften and melt!
Add marshmallows on top of softened chocolate chips. Place the pan back into the oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with graham crackers on the side and enjoy this amazing S’more Dip!
