Coffee Filter Juice Box Turkeys
This is a sponsored post. All opinion and ideas are my own. The past several months I have been insanely sick with my pregnancy. I have been trying to balance being a mom of 5, pregnant, excruciatingly sick and homeschooling all of my kids to boot. As hard as it has been these past several months, am so thankful for the time I have had with my kids these past several months. Now that our sweet baby Aesyn is here I have so much more energy for my other little kids. So today I got to spend some one on one time with my two little boys making Coffee Filter…

Upcycled Juice Box Plant Starters
This is a sponsored post for Juicy Juice, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I love finding creative ways to upcycle, recycle and use things that more often than not would often become trash! Since my kids LOVE Juicy Juice and go through tons of juice boxes a week. Especially right now with Covid-19 and having all 5 kids at home 24/7 homeschooling, hanging out and being bored out of their minds. I find having easy to grab snacks and treats a good way to help us all keep our sanity and enjoy our time at home a little more. Having all of the kids home has created a…

DIY LEGO Alphabet and Sight Word Blocks
Do you have some of those large Mega Blok or Lego’s just laying around your house not getting played with anymore? Now these plain old blocks have gone from drab to fab, from dull to full of fun! Not only do they look like a “new” toy to my kids they are the perfect educational tool, creating a whole new level of playing. I have noticed my two year old is enjoying these alphabet Mega Bloks more now that they…

6 Easy DIY Costumes for Adults
This post was sponsored by SmartBuyGlasses. The Spooky Season is upon us, which means two things; time to binge-watch Hocus Pocus and Halloween! But with Halloween comes the age old question, what am I going to wear? It’s the one time out of the year where you can go all out, whether you’re serving looks or serving spooks, Halloween is Christmas for Jack Skellington (my kids favorite movie this time of the year)! But as someone who wears glasses and doesn’t really enjoy wearing contacts, it can be hard to find the right costume where my glasses actually makes sense with the character! Every year finding the perfect costume is…

All Natural Stainless Steel Cleaner
With four kids and all stainless steel appliances I feel like I am having to constantly clean them. I actually got to a point where I was just tired of doing it myself. What you need: Microfiber Cloth 1 cup White Vinegar 1 cup water 3 drops Dawn Dish Soap Empty Spray Bottle 5-6 drops Lavender Essential oil (optional) Directions In a two cup measuring cup, mix white vinegar, water and Dawn…

Fall is my favorite season for decorating my home. I love transforming my normal everyday decor into fun, festive – fall designs. However, decorating my home can be so expensive! Thankfully I found these foam pumpkins from the Dollar Tree and was able to transform them into something absolutely gorgeous for my home! Just a little work and a few inexpensive supplies I was able to give them a whole new shabby chic look. I am excited with the way they turned out and match the rest of the decor in my home. It’s amazing how with just some cream colored spray paint, burlap ribbon and a stick from the great…

PEEPsicle’s – Peeps on a stick!
Peeps are an icon treat for Easter. My kids are always looking excited to open up their Easter baskets and start snacking on their PEEPS. This year I wanted to do a little something different. Instead of putting the same old boring packaging in their Easter Baskets I made these adorable PEEPsicle’s or PEEPS on a stick. They only took 10 seconds to make and turned out super cute. These Peeps on a stick really turned out so cute! I put them in a cute bucket I found in the Dollar Spot at Target, added a little lace and flower to decorate a little and filled the bucket with brown…

My kids absolutely LOVE these DIY Valentine’s Day cards we made for their classmates. I love that they were fun, easy and super affordable. Even more so I love that they do not include any candy. To make these fabulous Valentines simply print this Valentines Day Glow Stick printables HERE. Purchase glow stick bracelets (I found mine at Target, a pack of 15 for just $1. They also have them at the Dollar Tree.) Using pretty scrapbook paper cut out a background piece. I used my Silhouette Machine to cut my banner shaped background. Above is pictured the exact shape I created for the background of each Valentine, for printing with the…

Kids Yearly Savings Jar – 1 Penny at a Time!
Teaching kids to save their money can be hard. Heck convincing myself I need to save money seems nearly impossible sometimes. That’s why I decided to try something new with my kids this year. This year we will be saving money 1¢ at a time. Here’s how this works. First you will need a jar. I chose a nice big one since we will be adding lots of coins in (because that’s the type of money my kids have). You can get a jar like mine HERE. Next you will want to print a label for your jar. HERE is the label shown in the picture above, available for you to…
