The Negative Effects of Playing Video Games
After some very personal experiences recently I have come to this realization that not only has video games effected my family and our lives negatively, but there’s an epidemic occurring with this problem as well. Video games can be so damaging when overused. I have seen this first hand. But the crazy part is not only have I seen this first hand, but so have my children. My daughter was asked to write a “research” paper for her 9th grade English class and I was so impressed by her research and point of view, that I decided I to share it with you. So here it goes… Written by –…

Experiencing Pregnancy and Delivery During a Pandemic – My Birth Story
The year 2020 is a year no one well ever forget! For me it was a year to remember because it was the year I had my very last ever pregnancy. My sweet rainbow baby Aesyn Stone joined our family on November 12, 2020. We were definitely surprised to find out we were expecting this pregnancy but absolutely overjoyed to welcome the last and final addition to our family. We found out we were expecting our surprise rainbow baby March 23, 2020 – the same week we officially found out our lives were changing due to the novel corona virus and began a statewide mandated quarantine. As soon as I…

Homemade Berry Fruit Cups
This is a sponsored post, all opinions are honest and my own. I love finding unique ways to make special memories with my kids. With Covid-19 I don’t want my kids to grow up and only remember that time they couldn’t leave their house, or go to the park. I want them to remember how there was a period of time that we got to spend an extra amount of time together as a family, and we made some super awesome memories during that time. Having 5 kids ages 3-16 years old and expecting baby #6, finding activities “at home” that appeals to everyone and isn’t and excessive amount of…

A Letter to Parents During This Time Of Uncertainty
To all of the parents who like me who are feeling the very real fear and stress of their kids bearing down on their shoulders – let’s talk about how we can help ease the hearts and spirits of our families. There are several things we can and should be doing and saying during this crazy time. Covid-19 is hitting us at a time that is so incredibly different than any other time. Our kids are saturated in social media, they are self consumed, they struggle with coping through even simple daily frustrations (let alone something major like the coronavirus), but worse of all our kids don’t have hope. Let…

This post was sponsored by Juicy Juice. All ideas, opinions and content are my own. Boy do I love my kids, but when Back to School time rolls around I am READY for a regular schedule! With 5 kids ranging is ages from 2-15 years old those after school snack needs can vary greatly, however there seems to be one snack that they all really LOVE…JELL-O! Juicy Juice + Protein Rocks! I don’t buy Jell-O often for the kids…

Coping With The Loss of a Miscarriage
Let me start out by first saying, I am not a medical professional. Secondly, that there is no easy way to cope with the loss of a baby. Unfortunately, I am writing this post as I am currently waiting for a D&C procedure. This will be my 6th miscarriage and 5th D&C procedure. So as you can see I have quite a bit of experience when dealing with loss. Sadly, it doesn’t matter if you are suffering your first miscarriage or your 6th, each and every time the pain is the same. A loss, is a loss. The pain is real, your baby was a part of you and it’s…

How to Style a Julia
I have recently become a HUGE fan of the Julia. Ok wait…let me back up for a second. A Julia is the name of a dress designed by Lularoe. If you don’t know what Lularoe is then you may have been hiding under a rock for the past couple of years. LOL. Just kidding. Lularoe is designer boutique clothing at affordable prices. You can only buy Lularoe from a personal retailer online or through an in home pop up. (I am actually a Lularoe Retailer, please feel free to join my group on Facebook Angelique’s Lularoe Boutique). So as I mentioned the Julia is a dress. It is form fitting,…

Must Have Baby Registry Items – I Couldn’t Live Without!
We just recently had our 5th baby and oh boy let me tell you…baby products have definitely changed over the past 13 years since having my first. There are so many things that nice and quite convenient and then a ton of things to be honest that are just a waste of money. We really had to start completely over with baby #5, as we got rid of pretty much everything after having our 4th. So of course I did a ton of thinking and research to figure out what we NEEDED. I wanted to go into this last baby with a pretty minimalist approach. Not just get a ton…
