DIY FALL Word Art Home Decor (how to instructions)
Fall is almost here!
Not totally sure why but Autumn is my favorite season of all. Maybe it’s because my birthday is in October, the amazing fall foods, the decor I get to put up all over my house, or maybe it’s the fun cute layering look I get to sport. No matter what the reason – let’s just say that Fall is awesome!
I am so excited – I have already started making some fun decorations for my home and thought now was a good time to start sharing them with you!
Products Needed:
- F-A-L-L cardboard or wood art letters (you can also find these at your local craft store)
- Washi Tape
- Mod Podge
- Paint Brush
- Sharp Blade/Razor
Making this FALL word art was super easy! I simply bought the plain letters from Oriental Trading Company and some fun autumn colored Washi Tape.
Place washi tape on the letters one at a time. You can do all one color or create a pattern. Make sure to leave extra washi tape hanging over the edges on both sides. Once the entire letter has been covered, you will need to flip over the letter. Take a sharp blade and cut off the excess washi tape hanging over on both sides. This will create a nice clean look.
Finally take Mod Podge and put a light coating over washi tape to ensure it stays.
Find a place in your home to display and enjoy!
