Hey Dude Shoes #Review: A Trendy, Comfortable, Quality All Day Everyday Shoe!

Oh my goodness…I am so excited to share with you about Hey Dude Shoes! I received the Potenza Boot (color: Elmo) to review for my husband.  My husband works so hard as a field engineer and deserves only the best for his feet!

So let me start off with telling you that my husband has some “feet issues”. He tore his Achilles tendon and has to be very careful about the shoes he wears now. Living in Kansas it gets FREEZING outside in the winters and he has had a very hard time finding boots or warm shoes to wear. I also must tell you that my husband is VERY picky and particular about his style! Unlike me he is not worried about the price tag of the clothes he wears…he has his own style and I can tell you it’s not cheap!

When we first opened my husbands new Dude Shoes, he was stoked! My heart skipped a beat when I saw how much he loved the look of these new boots. He asked me several times if he could wear yet (while I was trying to get pictures of them for this review). But the true test was wearing them…I was really nervous.

These boots look really heavy and clunky, so I wasn’t sure if they would really work for him. But as soon as my husband put them on he was impressed. He loved how their is an easy access zipper on the side of the boots making them easy to put on and take off. The boot is constructed of leather with metal reinforced eyelets made for durability. I can totally see these boots lasting my husband for just about forever, they are just so well made!

The insole of the boot is unique and extraordinarily comfortable. Their distinctive ultra-light Flex-Fold outsole provides ultimate shock protection during long hours of wear. After wearing the boot for several hours my husband made sure to tell me how impressed he was with how comfortable he felt. Even after walking around the mall for a few hours he said his feet felt great and the boots felt so light on his feet! WOW now that’s awesome coming from my husband!
