Homemade Pumpkin Spice Recipe
You are just going to love this super easy and budget friendly recipe. I mean who doesn’t LOVE pumpkin spice in the Fall/Winter!?!? I absolutely love the smell of Autumn and all the yummy goodies like Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Spice Cookies and oh so much more! The one thing all of these Fall treats have in common is of course Pumpkin Spice (well and Pumpkin of course). I found myself having to run to the store constantly to buy more Pumpkin Spice and to be honest I just got tired of buying so many of those tiny little containers when I could just make it myself! I have tried several different recipes for pumpkin spice, but this one was definitely the BEST and totally AMAZING!
Another totally amazing perk of making your own Pumpkin Spice seasoning is you know exactly what is in it. There are no hidden chemicals, spices or odd ingredients.
Ingredients
1/4 cup ground cinnamon
2 Tablespoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
Directions
It’s pretty simple really combine all ingredients together and store in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 6 months (although that won’t be necessary if you are anything like me…haha. I go through my batch in about a month with all sorts of amazing pumpkin recipes!)
Pick which one you want to PIN FOR LATER! Enjoy 🙂
- ¼ cup ground cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon allspice
