Our FREE haircut and Ice Cream experience!!!

FREE haircuts at JcPenny’s! So as many of you know JcPenny’s is offering FREE kids back to school haircuts for the whole month of August! Well I was all over that deal…super excited to take advantage of the FREEBIE for 3 of my kids I called and scheduled their appointments.

As we prepared to go and get haircuts my kids were all super excited…like they were going to Disneyland or something…LOL.  So we packed up and headed out….guess I was a little anxious cause as we were driving to the mall I realized that we were going to be REALLY early. Thank goodness I am the Budget Bandit because it only took a second for me to think of an affordable way to spend our extra time…Burger King!!!

I figured since they kids already thought that this outing was so exciting why not make it even more exciting and get them each a $0.50 ice cream cone (Burger King is doing $0.50 ice cream cones for the rest of the month of August) I also had a FREE cone coupon that I was able to score myself a little treat 🙂

After our treat it was just across the street and over to JcPenny for their haircuts! Both of my daughter have hair down to their waste so they only needed a bit of a trim to “live-in” up their hair. My youngest daughter who is 4 ½ years old was getting her FIRST haircut! She was so excited she could hardly contain herself…LOL.

Our stylist was very good, sweet and patient with all my kiddos. She did a great job and now my kids all look stylish just in time for our trip back to Washington for my little sisters wedding!
