Teak Wood Bench Review + Giveaway!!!

It’s almost Spring, and with Spring just around the corner I have been on edge ready to start working on my yard, building my garden and creating a comfortable space for me to sit and watch my kids play.  For years I have wanted to add a wooden bench to my yard/garden area, however it is just so expensive to find a decent quality wood bench.

Well I totally lucked out, because I was recently offered the opportunity to review a Teak solid wood bench! When it arrived I was so ecstatic I could hardly contain myself! It came well packaged, with 4 major components for us to put together. It also came with complete easy to follow instructions. However I will tell you that it was so easy to put together we didn’t even open the instructions once!  The manufacture states that assembly should take approximately 30 minutes, however it only took me about 20 minutes (and I am a woman, who NEVER builds anything)!

The bench seems to be extremely well made. I love how it is sanded really smooth, making it more comfortable for sitting on (no splinters for my legs)! I also love the gorgeous natural wood color and how it shows the beautiful grain of the wood. It is actually so nice I am considering buying a second bench for inside my house. I want to white wash paint (giving it a shabby chic look) it and put it near the front door for an easy place for the kids to take their shoes off.
