The Cirque TORUK Avatar Show was Amazing

My family was so blessed to be able to attend the Opening night of Cirque TORUK Avatar. I have not seen a Cirque Du Soleil show in many years and was so excited to take my family to see this new show! Let me tell you we were not disappointed.

The narration, costumes, music, acrobatics were all fantastic. The opening show went off without a hitch. There were no major errors, falls or glitches. In fact, I was so surprised by the superior artistry displayed by those who performed on the silks. The perfection and skill required to fly the kites and not get them tangled was phenomenal.

One of my favorite things about this show was the interaction the cast had with the audience. Climbing through the stands so close we could really see the actors up close (so close we could have touched them if we dared LOL). Another audience interaction tool they used was a super cool phone app that you could download at the beginning of the show. We downloaded the app on our iPhones and throughout the show the app would tell you to do things and bring the audience in as a part of the show. It was really so cool. Probably one of the coolest things I have seen!

I want to mention again how amazing the costumes and props were. Each and every single aspect of this show was absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend if there is a show near you – get tickets now!
