Top 10 Toys For Kids This Christmas

Shopping for your kids around the holidays can sometimes feel overwhelming. Which toys are the best? Which ones will the kids actually play with? Which ones are quality? There are so many questions as a parent we often wonder when shopping for our kids. Well you are in luck, I have taken the time to do some of the research for you and have found 10 absolutely AMAZING toys that I would highly recommend this 2015 holiday season!

LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven – This little LeapFrog play oven is simply adorable. It looks very simple, but it is so much packed into one tiny little oven. Like most LeapFrog toys it is more than just a toy – it’s a learning tool! It inspires imagination play, counting, singing and more! My little guy has found this to be one of his most favorite toys right now! I definitely recommend the LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven for both boys and girls!

Leapfrog Sing and Play Farm – Here is another awesome educational toy by LeapFrog. Through fun and play you can introduce your child to animal names and sounds. Watch your child spend ours of enjoyment signing farmyard songs, exploring colors and learning about animals. As most LeapFrog toys, this toy quickly became a favorite in our house and I imagine it will be one that will get past down through the siblings, cousins and friends!

LeapFrog LeapTV – The LeapTV is a simple plug and play game in a matter of minutes. There are 3 ways to play: body, controller and point play. LeapTV  is so much more than just a video game. In a matter of no time at all it had my kids physically active, mentally learning, and even excited to continue to learn more and more! I love being able to give my kids a way to play “video games” without having to worry about the content and knowing that they are learning age appropriate skills. If you are looking for an interactive game system – LeapTV is definitely a great one to have!

Little Tikes Cook ‘n Store Kitchen – Here we have found another amazing little kitchen type toy that is sure to inspire hours of imagination play. It comes with utensils, cups, saucers, pots, pans, food products and it can all be packed into an awesome little kitchen that closes up and stores away for your convenience. K’Nex Stompz Building Set – SUPER COOL! I have to start with that! This K’Nex toy lives up to the brand name. It is so incredibly neat. Not only is it the perfect toy for the builder-constructor in your house, but it is also has a mechanical feature. I would recommend this awesome set for kids 7+ who are good at following instructions. It was a little challenging to construct, but to be honest I liked that about it. My son can build LEGO sets in no time (and then get’s board with it almost immediately), however this K’Nex set was able to both challenge him and entertained him for days!

K’Nex Home Designer Building Set – Encourage both building and playtime with this super cool K’Nex set! The instructions were easy to follow and the houses turned out so cute! My daughter loved that she could be a little creative with where to place the stickers and play with the two houses together. This set comes with two different little condominium type homes that you build with the K’Nex. It took her a good amount of time to construct them, however she seemed to really enjoy it the entire time. Once the set was constructed she spent several days really enjoying playing with the two houses and the little figures all together. Very Cute!

Take Apart Roadster – This fun little roadster was most definitely designed with the preschooler in mind. It includes big nuts and bolts for your youngster to be able and build car over and over again. I really enjoyed the simplicity of it’s design. It was easy for my 3 year old to play with. He especially loved being able to build his car and then take it apart again. My favorite part is how fantastic this toy is for teaching the fine motor skills like spacial awareness, twisting and pushing.  Your child is sure to spend hours assembling and zipping this fun roadster around.

B. Parum Pum Pum drum – My son absolutely loves his Pum Pum drum! It is the perfect instrument for the little musician of the house. It comes with several easy to use instruments perfect for a young toddler, including: drumsticks, jingle bells, a maraca with clacker, a tambourine and 2 shaker eggs. The drum has a big handle with soft cotton strap that makes it easy for my little guy to carry it and play music all over the house.  The best part is that it all stores inside the drum, making it easy for my little guy to store and put it away! Deluxe Doll Set Sydney Lee and “Stars in Your Eyes” –  If you have a little girl who loves the idea of an American Girl Doll, but a $100+ doll is just not in the budget – than this Our Generation Doll is perfect! She is wonderfully made, designed with fabulous details and is perfect for the inspired ballerina. My daughter has an American Girl Doll and actually prefers her Sydney Lee Our Generation Doll! She loves her beautifully bunned hair, fun pink and blue ballet outfits, dance bag and other accessories. My daughters favorite part was the fun little book that came with her doll sharing Sydney Lee’s story!

58-piece Safari Adventure Case – Battat Bristle Blocks are so much fun for the little builder. They make building, constructing and playing so easy. There is no need to find the perfect fit, these fun little blocks pretty much fit however you push them together. Whether you are constructing a house, farm, safari adventure or whatever else the imaginations brings to life – these little Bristle Blocks are so much fun! My son loves the adorable little safari critters and carrying case he can store his creations in. These are definitely a must have!
