DIY Fishin’ Treat for Kids

Sometimes you just gotta have some fun with the kiddos! Whether it’s for a specific themed birthday party, get together, or just a fun summer time activity – this DIY Fishin’ Treat is perfect! Your kids will have a blast both making them and eating them! Plus I bet you will get some major “cool mom” brownie points for this one!

Supplies:

Directions:

1. Open your Twizzlers candy and carefully peels the strands apart so you have a single strand of candy. This serves as the string for you’re fishing pole.

2. Wrap one end of your Twizzlers strand around one end of a lollipop stick. Tip: In order to get the candy to stick, firmly press the candy against the stick. It will then become sticky and adhere to the stick.

3. Grab a Swedish Fish and firmly press it against the other end of the Twizzlers strand. Since they are both gummy candy, pressing them firmly together will make them stick to each other.

4. Place your candy into a jar or onto a tray.
