I have recently discovered the amazing wholesome-goodness of juicing! And let me tell you my life is forever changed. Not only do I know exactly what I am drinking and putting into my body (and my kids bodies) but the taste is incomparable to store bought juices! There are many reasons to juice whether you want to do a cleanse, avoiding toxins and additives, are choosing to live organic, or simply prefer the taste and texture…no matter what  your reason…once you try it you will LOVE IT!

I am hoping that I can kick my addiction to Coca-Cola and replace it with this much healthier choice. In order to accomplish this goal I am using my new fantastic Fagor Enerjuicer! I love it so much it is so easy to use and it makes the perfect consistency juices. The machine itself is sleek and modern looking, making a fantastic addition to my kitchen appeal. It comes pretty much ready to go. All you have to do is remove one piece of cardboard from inside the grater/blade and plug in!

Using the Fagor Enerjuicer is easy and self explanatory. Simply cut your fruits and vegetables, turn the machine on to either of the two settings, and beginning juicing. As the machine juices the produce the pulp will go into a special canister while the juice will be separated into a no mess pitcher. My favorite feature of this machine is the pitcher. I love that the pitcher has a separator mechanism to separate unwanted foam from the juice.

Now for the nitty gritty details. The Fagor Enerjuicer Dual Speed Juice Extractor runs on 120V and 800 watts of heavy-duty power to easily extract juicer from some the toughest produce with efficiency and speed. In addition, the juicer has a built in mechanism which stops the motor from overheating. It is designed with an extra-large 3 inch food chute, allowing for whole fruits like apples and pears to be processed easily. The juicer has a relatively a low noise level with it’s two speeds HIGH (10,000 RPMs) for harder produce and LOW (7,000 RPMs) for softer fruits.The machine includes a 66 oz pulp collector, 40 oz juice collector and a cleaning brush. All parts are BPA free and have a 1 year manufacture warranty.

There are so many different recipes out there for homemade juices. So far I have two absolute favorites…Strawberry, Watermelon and Cucumber Juice  as well as Apple, Pineapple, and Kale Juice. They are both so delicious and nutritious I am super excited to share the recipes with you!

Strawberry, Watermelon and Cucumber Juice

Ingredients:

• 8-10 strawberries
• 1 cup watermelon, cut and cubed
• 1/4 peeled cucumber

Instructions:

1. Put all ingredients in your Fagor Enerjuicer Dual Speed Juice Extractorand let it do it’s magic.
2. Pour contents into a glass and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Enjoy 

Apple, Pineapple and Kale Juice

Ingredients:

• 1/2 Pineapple peeled and cut
• 1 Apple (I used Granny Smith)
• 2-3 Kale Leaves

Instructions:

1. Put all ingredients in your Fagor Enerjuicer Dual Speed Juice Extractor and let it do it’s magic.
2. Pour contents into a glass and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Enjoy
