Firehouse Subs Restaurant Review (Love this place!)

I was recently offered the opportunity to review my local Firehouse Subs restaurant. Oh boy what a fantastic experience! We were already fans of Firehouse subs, as a family we have visited a few times and have always really enjoyed our sandwiches. However after getting a chance to visit the local Olathe Kansas store and meeting the owners I found myself even more in love with Firehouse subs.

It was fascinating to learn that Firehouse subs is a franchise business and the owners that I was blessed to meet were amazing people. A young family like mine with 3 children. After visiting with them I learned that the wife opened their store up on her own with a preschooler and pregnant with a baby on the way, while her husband was away serving one of his 3 tours in Pakistan (I believe that is where he was). What a strong and inspiring family!

Well lets get down to business. As much as I was inspired by the owners of Firehouse Subs I know what you are wondering is how was the food. Well it is amazing! I love that many of their sandwiches “hot” sandwiches, which means they warmed up and bring the meat to temperature so that even a pregnant mom can eat a cold cut sandwich with the rest of the family! I have tried several different subs from there now and each one was equally amazing. My favorite sandwich is the Firehouse Hero, while their number one top seller is the Hook & Ladder (also delicious).

Firehouse Subs is a family friendly restaurant. The local Olathe Kansas restaurant offers $0.99 kids meals all day Tuesdays. I love family friendly restaurants like this! It makes going out as a family so much more enjoyable and affordable!

Firehouse Subs is a major supporter of charities, especially the local fire departments. Right now in the month of October is Public Safety Month were they encourage you to donate to support first responders and public safety organizations.
