Healthy Green Juice – That Tastes Delicious!

Green Juice

Sometimes I just crave some fresh all natural juice, and well lets be honest buying it from the store can be so expensive. That’s why I absolutely LOVE juicing my own fruits and veggies. The best part is if you have fruits (or veggies) that are about to go bad those make the best ingredients for juicing…they already have own natural sweeteners enhanced so you won’t need to add any sweetener AT ALL! Plus you will be able to save yourself from the agonizing feeling that you let food go to waste!

For this recipe I used a pineapple I let get a little too soft and browned to want to eat, an apple that was beginning to go soft and some fresh Kale. I know who wants leaves in their tasty juice? But I promise you won’t taste the Kale at all. Plus it has antioxidants and is really good for you!

Ok here you go! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Pineapple peeled and cut
  • 1 Apple (I used Granny Smith)
  • 2-3 Kale Leaves

Green Juice Recipe

Instructions:

  1. Chop up pineapple, apples and kale into large usable sized pieces. For my Juicing Machine e, I simply have to remove the outer peel of the pineapple and cut my apple in half in order to put it through the juicer. There is very little cutting involved (one of my favorite features of my juicer!)
  2. Next put all ingredients through your Juicing Machine and let it do it’s magic. Remember you may have to put it in little by little, but it’s perfectly fine as the juice all mixes together in the container the flavors will merge perfectly!
  3. Pour your amazingly delicious Green Juice into a glass and refrigerate for 1 hour. The green juice definitely tastes best when chilled.
  4. Enjoy :) (Beware this juice won’t last long…because it’s deliciousness will overcome you!)

***You can store your juice in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, however I wouldn’t go much longer than that. It really only takes a few minutes to make fresh, so no worries!
