KidKraft Addison Toddler Bed (espresso) Review

The KidKraft Addison Toddler Bed is seriously adorable. I was so blessed to receive this bed for my son to review and let me tell you – he loves it. Like everything made and designed by KidKraft the Addison Toddler Bed is extremely well made. With kids in mind this bed was made sturdy, safe and beautiful to look at.

When transitioning a toddler from crib to bed it can be a little overwhelming the Addison Toddler bed was made to make that transition easier and more enjoyable. This modern style bed and the deep espresso color meets both my requirements of “style” and functionality. The sleek wooden bed will take any toddler room from drab to fab!

The bed is very low to the ground making it easy for my son to be able to get on and off his bed safely. I especially LOVE the build in side rails that keep my little guy safe and secure from rolling out of his bed at night! It is also quite convenient that the toddler bed is about the same size as the crib so rearranging the room was not a problem. We could simply replace my sons crib with his new big boy bed and viola – less work and more consistency. As a mom of four I can tell you when it comes to transitioning your child from ANYTHING finding a source of consistency is important. This is why I love that with the Addison Toddler Bed my son can keep the crib mattress and bedding he has been using for the past two years. Plus his bed can stay in the same exact location in his room, making less work for me! These little pieces of consistency simply adds an extra sense of security when transitioning  from crib to bed and thus make the transition much easier.
