Semi Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
Sometimes you want the flavor of a homemade spaghetti sauce without all the fuss! That’s why I created this super simple Semi Homemade Spaghetti Sauce Recipe. It’s not only crazy easy to make – it tastes divine! I bet you could even get away with tricking guests that it was made from scratch! YUM!!!!
Ingredients
- 1-2 lbs Hamburger
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 Cup Ragu Spaghetti Sauce
- 2 cans Italian Stewed Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 Basil Leaves, finely chopped
Directions
- In a large saute pan, brown hamburger. Drain excess liquid, add onions and garlic. Saute until onions are soft and translucent.
- Add Ragu, Italian Tomatoes (entire contents of the can), brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Let simmer for at least 15 minutes, allowing sauce to reduce down.
- Right before serving mix in fresh basil.
- Serve with fresh Parmesan cheese.
