Copycat Hidden Valley Ranch Mix Recipe
We love to cook at home! For years I thought that using the ranch dips was “cheating” or nasty for some reason. But over the years I have come to LOVE Hidden Valley’s Ranch dry mix! We use it primarily as a seasoning when cooking meats or meals in the Ninja Multi Cooker System. The only thing is I hate spending $1.50-$2.00 per tiny little packet. Even worse I hate that there are several ingredients that are unnecessary, and well flat out just chemicals. This homemade copycat Hidden Valley ranch mix is delicious, only costs about $0.25 per package, and is ALL NATURAL! Ingredients tsp onion powder tsp garlic powder…

This Ultimate Rotisserie Chicken Caesar salad is seriously delicious! Tasty, refreshing, packed full of flavor – Perfection! Ingredients 1-2 cups Rotisserie Chicken, pulled and shredded 2 heads of Romaine Lettuce 1/2 cup Black Olives 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes 1/2 cup Bacon, chopped 2 hard boiled eggs, diced 1 cup Croutons 1/2 cup Parmesan 1 whole Avocado (optional) 2-3 lemon wedges (optional)…

How to Save On School Pictures
This post was sponsored on behalf of Simple Canvas Prints. All opinions are 100% my own. The price of school photographs have become just ridiculous. I have four kids and if I just wanted one single photo of each of my kids, I would be paying more than $100! Even worse, the photo’s all look the same, with the same pose, in the same position, with the same background….BORING! So I decided I will no longer order school photo’s. I would much rather snap a candid shot of my kids playing, being themselves and put it on canvas where I can display it beautifully in my home. I’m not a big…

Semi-Homemade Caesar Dressing
I have never found a Caesar Dressing I liked just the way it was – store bought. However, if you purchase Ken’s Caesar Dressing and do just a quick modification to it…it will taste homemade and delicious! Try this recipe out and let me know what you think! Semi-Homemade Caesar Dressing 1 cup Ken’s Creamy Caesar Dressing 3 cloves minced garlic 1/2 lemon, juiced 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese Add all ingredients into the blender and pulse for 10-15 seconds. Pregnancy Tip: From Frumpy to Stylish on a Budget
I participated in a Blog Blast Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Bella Gravida. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Boy has pregnancy and maternity changed over the years. I remember when I was pregnant with my first child, I had only one place to shop for maternity clothes, they were insanely expensive, way over sized (I am only 5 ft tall and a very small frame) and the worst part…they were UGLY. When you are already rapidly gaining weight and feeling frumpy, you don’t need clothes to enhance that feeling. Thank God maternity clothes have changed over the past 12 years! Now days…

5 Toys for Making On-The-Go Convenient
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Are you a busy on-the-go mom (dad, grandparent or childcare provider)? I know as a mom of four, I always feel like I am running around crazy busy, picking kids up from school, dropping them off at sports, taking them to appointments and so forth. My poor little guy, being the youngest of four gets toted around everywhere we go. Thankfully through many helpful friends, suggestions from family members and life experience I have learned a few helpful hints…

Coping Thru Miscarriage and Postpartum Depression
Coping with miscarriage and postpartum depression is something I wish I knew nothing about. With all my heart I wish I could say I sympathize with you those emotions but cannot relate. Unfortunately, that is not my story. I have been faced with some of the deepest hurt and pains over the past several years, caused by the loss of very much wanted babies. I have endured 3 very heart breaking miscarriages. As a result I have dealt with each and every one of them differently. My first miscarriage came as a complete and utter shock! I was 12-13 weeks when we went for our first prenatal visit (with was…

This post was written by me and sponsored by Farmland. All opinions are 100% my own. Let me start off by saying “I love BACON”! Seriously there is nothing better than some tasty bacon to make your day a little brighter. Well bacon and some football that is! Since moving to Kansas we have jumped feet first into loving and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs. This includes watching, games, tailgating (well at home tailgating that is) and even visiting a game last season! Bacon Onion Rings Recipe So I’m not sure about you, but we are totally ready to kick off this Chiefs season with some amazing food, fun and…
