I received this product for free in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% my own. Skillet Sausage Pasta

It is truly heart breaking how many of us know someone personally or even intimately who has struggled with breast cancer. In fact, it has effected so many that October is now known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

al fresco wants to help in every way they can. Right now they are hosting an awesome campaign on Twitter and Instagram using #fightbackbetter. Every time someone posts a photo using #fightbackbetter, al fresco will donate a product to The Ellie Fund. The Ellie Fund, is an organization that provides essential support services for breast cancer patients and their families like free meals and grocery store gift certificates. Therefore, anytime someone posts with #fightbackbetter, a cancer patient receives al fresco products to make a healthy meal.

Also for the month of October, al fresco will also be selling their product in pink packaging and donating $1.00 from each pink package purchased to the American Cancer Society for up to $25,000.

So let’s talk about what you can do this month to #fightbackbetter whether it’s by wearing a pink ribbon, donating to a friend’s walk, dropping coins into the collection or making a commitment to having your annual mammogram, buying al fresco products (in the pink package) there is so much you can do!  Share your ideas for how you plan to #fightbackbetter and make sure to tag @LivingChicMom as well!
