Skoy Cloth Paper Alternative Product Review

skoy clothe

I recently received the opportunity to review the Skoy Cloth…and was SOOOO excited!!! It has a simple design, square, with a quilted pattern on both side and made of 100% biodegradable materials like cotton and wool-based cellulose pulp. Even better is has no special dyes or chemical coloring’s of any kind. The Skoy cloth is 100% natural! I have used mine several times and so far it still looks like new (minus a few stains of course).

I am sick of my nasty sponge sitting by my sink…and even more so I am sick of paying top dollar for paper products I am just going to throw away. I love that the Skoy Cloth does not have a suitable environment for bacteria to survive (like a sponge). PLUS  just one Skoy Cloth can soak up 15 times its weight in liquid, which equals about 13 paper towels. As a matter of fact, the Skoy Cloth is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average household. I will be honest we go through probably 2 times the average amount of paper towels in our household and it’s just ridiculous. I have been debating letting us just run out of paper towels and using wash cloths. Well after trying out the Skoy Cloth I am even more excited about the prospects of going “green” in our home!

Here are some great ways to use the Skoy Cloth as a paper alternative in your home:

  • Cleaning up sticky babies (I tested this myself!)
  • Washing Dishes (even with pots and pans)
  • Wiping up counters
  • Cleaning up spilled messes (even spilled milk)
  • Wiping down walls, doors, railings…

Plus cleaning the Skoy cloth is really easy…just damp the cloth put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and you will kill any possible germs picked up while cleaning. Or for an even easier clean toss it in the dish washer after washing your dishes or in the washer and let it hang dry.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
