Jack Skellington Marshmallow Treats (from Nightmare Before Christmas)

Are you a Nightmare Before Christmas fan? Looking for a great party treat, Halloween table decor or just fun snack for the kids? These Jack Skellington Marshmallow treats are crazy fun to make, and easy enough the kids can even help out.

Making these treats takes almost no time at all. In fact the part that took the most amount of time was decorating them up. You can decorate yours however you please, however if you want them to look like mine – here is how I did it.

Directions

Start out with some black washi tape (electrical tape would work too) and lollipop sticks. Create a striped pattern with the washi tape and lollipop stick by wrapping a small piece of tape around the stick every quarter inch or so.

To create Jack’s bow tie, simply take a piece of ribbon (I used black spider web ribbon of course!) and tie it around the top of the stick (about 1 inch down from the top).

Now to create Jack Skellington. This part was really quite easy. Using jumbo sized marshmallows and black writing icing, carefully draw the face of Jack Skellington. You can make them all the same or slightly different. I chose to give him a few different expressions for fun!

The jar used to hold Mr Jack Skellington is simply a mason jar filled with layers of chocolate chips and tiny marshmallows!

***What do you think? What type of event would you make these Jack Skellington Treats for?
